dewolfe park has been a favorite walking spot of mine for years. It is a flat area along Bedford Basin. Although not maintained in winter, it is usually sidewalk with a small bit of snow or slush if it has snowed recently. Famous Theodore the Tugboat is stored here in the protected waters of the Bedford Basin. …

I have been coming to this park for a few years. My fiance and I love to walk along the waterfront and enjoy the sites. There is a nice park area if you have children and they usually have fun events in the summer months. It is not too far from Halifax and is much more peaceful of a walk compared to the Halifax waterfront, if you are looking for something a little quieter yet with the nice views.…

This is our weekend walking place. The view along the water is peaceful and amazing. It changes constantly. I have seen seals in the water chasing fish. The boardwalk is perfect. Hard to stop taking photos.
