We'd done plenty of indoor climbing but never outdoors and so had a morning with Gordon to learn the ropes (pardon the pun) at one of the crags above Tremadog. Gordon had discussed with me at length what we wanted to get out of the session (knots, gear types and placement, etc) and then tailored the morning to fit. We set up some top-ropes to then enable us to climb some routes with confidence, despite an increasingly gusty breeze and the odd hail shower! Really excellent knowledge shown by Gordon who ensured we got the most from the morning, and definitely inspires us to climb outdoors more.

Fantastic day in the Gorge with Rich the instructor. Well organised, good equipment, great safety and a huge amount of fun. Makes an excellent family and shared experience. Highly recommend.

Had a fantastic morning Coasteering with Gordon, whom we met at his centre and then drove out to the location. He was able to choose a location where there were no other coasteering groups. Gordon made it great fun, jumps were optional, and he was very knowledgeable about the area and things we were seeing. A really nice touch was that he took some photos during the session which he then was able to provide us with afterwards.

My husband, 9 year old son and I were lucky enough to have Andy our instructor to ourselves. We were looked after from start to finish after meeting at the carpark by the gorge. All kit was provided and good quality. The trip itself was fun and interesting. It was set to a level we could all manage, walking up the gorge, sliding between rocks in the river, climbing up waterfalls us ropes and ending in a jump into a pool at the top of the gorge. Brilliant surroundings and Andy was informative and enthusiastic throughout. Even being introduced to wild garlic and wood sorrel. After a short walk back down a track we were back at the vehicles. Andy stayed with us and chatted until we were changed and ready to go. We couldn't have asked for more. A thoroughly enjoyable trip for all of us. Thank you Bach Ventures, and Andy of course!

Camp site is very good we were in it alone good amenities and owners were superb very relaxed! They also organised our coasteering trip which was phenomenal! The location is good near all the towns of north Wales and a very good pub (both food and beer), yet further out from being a tourist trap! The campsite is great and provides all you need showers, toilets and a fire pit! Coasteering was awesome you do need to be aware of what it is but I loved it! I do not climb but my skills were fine and although i forgot my trainers i was able to get some to suit the need easily! Staff were superb and experienced and the equipment was top notch! We certainly were in choppy and rainy weather but personally this added to the experience! Be aware that the coast is a good 50 minute drive from the campsite so make sure you take everything you need to change after the coasteering. Ps the over two hours we were out just flew by!
