Beautiful view of the sea.

Our tour bus stopped here for a brief photo stop. Nice rock and legend with a lovely view of the Mediterranean.

The famous birthplace of Aphrodite the rock formations are located on a pebble beach between the resorts of Pissouri and Paphos. The water here is crystal clear and are dusk you can get really good photos with beautiful lighting! Not sure how comfortable it would be to spend an entire day on the pebble beach but this is def worth... More

Stunning view and the sea is a beautiful colour. The car park is over the main road which is busy so it's safer to use the walkway at the side of the café as it goes under the road and straight onto the beach - don't forget your camera

Visited here twice in April. First time it was very windy but sunny. Lots of people were playing chicken with the traffic to cross from the carpark to the beach - use the footpath it's safer (down the stairs next to the cafe and under the road). Quite a few people had scaled the rock itself and many were just... More

We travelled by bus but didn't realise, we had three hours before the next bus back to the main station in Paphos! We filled in time though by following a nature trail and walking into the hills to a couple of the viewing seats overlooking the beach. The rocks themselves are impressive and the beach is lovely too. There's a... More

The rock formation is where the greek godess, Aphrodite was born, according to Greek Mythology. Regardless, you should visit this place when in Cyprus. It offers absolute stunning views, especially at sunset.

Pull in to the tourist place- there is an underpass under the road on to the beach . the beach is very pebbly you need to be wearing shoes . the climb up the large rock to get a full view of Aphrodite's Rock is easy and well worth doing. Parking is free.
