nice art deco theatre

good theatre for kids or adults, good range of theatre sizes and the roof top bar for a drink before the movie is great on a nice evening

The Rivoli shows popular and art house movies. There is a great roof top bar. There is a lovely atmosphere, much nicer than the usual sterile cinemas

Online booking fees were the last straw for me. Have not been back for 2yrs since Lido in Glenferrie Rd opened.

You will be amazed by this majestic theater in a beautiful old building. It looks like it still has its all original fittings. It is three storeys high and the winding stairs are a delight. The theater we were in was spacious and very comfortable. At the end of the childrens movie the kids ran to the carperted area in... More

Gorgeous setting with a rooftop bar to boot. It's surrounded by lots of lovely little restaurants and bars for a pre show snack and easy to get to by public transport.

It is worth spending a couple of hours visiting and seeing your favourite movie. Rooftop garden will open during summer which is also a great place to meet with friends and have a... More

I love the Rivioli as it has a nice feel about it and I feel very comfortable watching a movie there. Have been going there since I was a teenager and that was some time ago, and I still have the same feeling every time I go back.

This was our second visit to this Cinema. What a stunning place, we enjoyed it the first time our friends took us and they took us again. We had a very nice Coffee in the bar before the film. We were in a smaller theatre this time but it was just as magical. The whole place is spotless, the seating... More
