very nice beach with some good restaurants. Beach is very clean with clear water and occasionally big waves. The beach is located about 20 minutes drive from either Calvi or il Rouge.

An OK beach. Nothing special, but sandy and nice. There's a few beach bars and sports rentals (kayak, kiting, surfing etc).

This is a nice beach about 15-20 minutes drive from Calvi. Nicer and less crowded than the city beach in Calvi. There can be a little bit of waves, but there is no problem to go swimming.

The best beach I found on this side of the island . Wide enough with clear water . You can also find organized and free areas . With westerly winds you can expect some waves . Besides that it is perfect

one of the few beaches with an easy assess by car ( and free parking still ). so for surfers it's easy cause you can park your car almost on the beach. when it's windy it's good surf and less swim. current is strong and waves can get high. the beach has a few beach bars / restaurants. a walk towards the rocks at the end of the beach is worth doing. the train to either Calvi or Ile Rousse stops close to the beach. The beach is not make of sand but very very small stones. love this beach ! Nice for a sunset picture with the village on the background.

This beach has it all. We stayed in Algajola for a few weeks and used the beach frequently. Wind surfing, hang gliding, chaise long, crystal clear waters and a great little restaurant. Perfect way to spend the day.

Clean water, clean and long beach, not too many people, food around is good, especially the restaurants with a view. Recommended for families and couples. Parking is not too easy but at least it is free. The train from l'île Rousse to Calvi stops in Algajola. The village of Algajola is only 10 minutes walk from the beach. The bakery there is very good.

Lovely beach which can vary from flat to very rough depending on the prevailing wind. All water sports available and restaurant bar options. Good walking trails available at each end of the beach east to Ille Rouse and west to Calvi trails well marked but narrow.

The sea gets deep really quickly, not too good for small kids.
Often windy with really big waves. On the right hand side, at the end there are rocks and it is really nice for snorkeling.
