Hartley's "helmet diving" is so awesome! It was recommended by a friend, and I'm so glad we did it. We were on a cruise to Bermuda and this was our chosen excursion for the day. (We booked this excursion without the involvement of the cruise...More

This was a real find and excellent value for money with about 40 minutes spent underwater. Neither of us had ever dived before but this was so easy and an amazing experience. Greg escorts you all the way, encouraging fish to dart all around you....More

I booked bc of the reviews and so happy i did it with my family. I had some concerns that my kids, 7 and 10, wouldn't follow directions and drown (Lol). They were fine. For the ear pressure i would suggest to bring gum. They...More

I have permanent holes in my eardrums and haven't had my head underwater in 20 years. Finally, I was able to go underwater with Hartley's and the day could not have been better. The helmet simply rests on your shoulders. No fear of drowning and...More

Thanks David for taking the time to write a review, a 5 star one at that! So it seems that you have turned your minuses into pluses. The two minuses, being the holes in your ear drums have been turned into pluses of appreciation for...More

We are settling back into our routines at home, but our hearts and minds are still 11 feet below the surface of Bermuda's beautiful water. Greg Hartley provided us with an utterly spectacular experience - he pushed us all beyond our comfort zones, and we...More

Wow Julie. Thanks for such a long, thoughtful and unprompted 5 star review. You have used a whole bunch of words that make me feel very gratified. My purpose has been achieved. My aim is to inspire you as well as give you confidence and...More

So, I went to do this trip based on the reviews of others. I hadn't always wanted to do it but in lieu of shopping with my friends, I wanted to do something unique. This really filled fill the bill. It is something to do...More

Thanks Geologymom for such a long and informative review. If these reviews were prompted by me (Boost our ranking, give us a review!!!) , then the reviews would be very short as the end in mind would simply by to give lots of stars and...More

Two weeks ago, we went to the Dockyards to take the Hartey's Underwater walk and had an excellent time. My family wanted to do this "tour" before we left Boston and this experience did not let us down. We had a great time and saw...More

Thanks RITraveler for taking the time to write a review and to give us 5 stars. The ability to wear glasses is a big plus. I still do not understand how snorkeling is so popular and how folks can not see helmet diving as soooo...More

It was a great experience! I've always wanted to go scuba diving to explore the reefs and marine life but was always too scared. So if you are scared like me, helmet diving is the next best thing to do, you are able to breath...More

Thanks DB for expressing your appreciation of your experience. It is all so subjective, is it not? Your concern of doing something, well outside your comfort zone and skill set, scuba diving, has increased your enjoyment of your helmet dive with us. And yes, this...More

Greg Hartley and Andre were terrific. It was the most amazing thing we have ever experienced. Greg gave us a ton of interesting information on the way to the clearest water i have ever seen. All we had to do was get on the ladder...More

Thanks Kenliny for adding more 5 stars to the mix. It helps keep the average up for when some people are not as happy as they should be. These rave reviews can backfire as they raise the bar of people's expectation. If they expect 20...More

Thanks Valerie for having such a great time. If that rain shower had been a bit earlier, and the wind had switched back to the south, we would have had the boat bow into the wind rather than broad side. After all, we were directly...More

It takes 3 to 4 hours depending on how many people are on board. You go under in groups so there is some waiting while the other groups are under water.
