I was looking for a place to capture some unique views of very picturesque area of Canada. This is were I landed and it ended up being a great or lucky choice. Although it was raining while there, the backdrop of mountains and houses scattered across the hillside looking across the sound was fabulous. Was there for business and wasn't... More

Rocky Point Park is a jewel in Port Moody. On the Burrard Inlet, it has gorgeous views of the North Shore mountains from the pier inside the park. Easy walking trails and asphalt for biking or strollers surround the park. Inside you will see some old growth and secondary cedars and firs, occasional blue herons, and sometimes, black bears. Salmon... More

Rocky Point has it all -- a great backdrop, nearby restaurants/pubs, great playgrounds, a seasonal swimming pool, trails and lots of different activities..... oooooh... and a boat launch, although hubby and I are rookies and wonder how we actually launch/dock the boat without a dock we can walk to/on.

Great park, busy in summer, nice view. Good for families, safe for kids, multiple activities. Barbecue allowed.

This is a great park for kids when the geese are not around. The grass is covered in goose pooh when they come it. Really hard to let little ones run around. But the water park is great for kids to cool off and play. There is a small play area with swings. The pier is good fun.

Walk here regularly. About 7km around the head of the inlet and back. Birds, water views, lovely any time of year. Beach and playground on the Ioco (opposite) side of the inlet is a nice resting spot, great for a picnic or to tickle your toes in the water.
