we went to this amazing location and never expect to found a salt cathedral 180mt below surface, it has the biggest cross underground, you can find gift shops, you can take photos or you can get them after the tour, takes about 3 hours the tour, you can see painting and sculpture in the rocks. breathtaking experience.!

This was a very nice and special experience during my first visit to Colombia. Place is located about 45-50 from Bogotá. They have tour guides with small groups giving you all the information you need to know about this place. The place is mostly dark and the floors are irregular (remember that you are inside of a salt-made cave), so... More

You will never expect a whole cathedral could be 180 meters underground. Less than an hour from Bogotá you will encounter this marvelous place. Although the entrance is a bit expensive, is totally worth it.

I was simply surprised, this place really touched me! For 50k COP (foreigners ticket cost) you can see something not really usual! Strongly recomended!!

Near to Bogotá in Zipaquira, you find salt Cathedral, is an impressive place and an obligate stop in your trip in Colombia. Is a Roman Catholic Church, underground.

A very uncommon sight: a cathedral that was built inside a salt mine. Spectacular views, interesting tour.

Located in a cave made of salt its one of the wonders of the world. A must visit when in Bogota. Located 1 1/2 hours outside of the city.

We went early and had a nice peaceful experience. However, as we were leaving the it started to get very crowded. It was a fascinating place but the term Cathedral is misleading. It’s really a salt mine tour with some carvings At the end there is wonderfully huge church like room. We found it to be a unique opportunity to... More

Slightly bizarre place, but an interesting visit, unlike anywhere else. film was hilarious but did have some interesting content. Luckily very quiet when we went, would have been less enjoyable with hordes of people.

You won't regret to visit this place. It's smells funny but you get used to it. Warning it's very dark and claustrophobic at some point.
