Lovely Hilltop Village

Really enjoyed our visit to Sirince. Lovely place to spend a few hours walking and exploring. Some of the area is quite steep so wear sensible shoes.

This village is gorgeous even though very much catering for tourists. Up in the hills it is green and the shops are full of locally made wares along with the normal souvenirs. Highly recommend visiting

Sirince is a little bit away from the coast up a winding road. A bit touristy with every other shop selling either souvenirs, a bar or selling the local wine. However the setting is extremely pleasant, nice views, locals are very friendly and not pushy, small museum is worth a visit

Sirince is a beautiful little village in the mountains near Izmir. This was recommended to us at the resort where we were staying and we're glad they did. We spent the morning there with Ephesus in the afternoon as its close by. Lots of lovely little shops selling local produce, lovely local wine, freshly squeezed pomegranate juice, crafts etc. There's... More

Used to be a secret little village with authentic environment and village life. It turns into a shopping mall during weekends and good weather. That being said they simply have amazing wine. The whole village is famous for local wines. Lots of pomegranate local produce herbs olive oil related products can be acquired here as well as mass produced touristic... More

What an amazing surprise Sirince is. Lots of little shops selling handicrafts, clothes, jewellery, pottery and leather goods. Lots of places to eat and drink. Have an ice cream and watch the world go by, you won't regret it. An absolute highlight.

A beautiful little village, lots of happy friendly people, beautiful crafts, there was a wedding taking place when we visited which added to the splendour, it was one of them mornings we decided to take a bus ride and then another and another, the village is sooooooooooooo high up and the bus drives are not exactly careful (well how we... Sirince is a quaint little village tucked away in the mountains. Only 8 km from Selcuk, the road is steep and winding with breathtaking views on the way. Cars have to be parked on the main road and then there are narrow cobblestoned alleys throughout the village, which can be tricky without proper shoes, specially when they are wet and... More

So beautiful! Walk into the village. Drink a nice cup of Turkish coffee! See the beautiful handmade goods and food and jewellery. You will not want to leave.
