I stayed here for just 1 night so I took a halfday tour. Mr Dinh sent me their itinerary but I couldn’t search the place anywhere so I didn’t know what to expect. The trekking was beyond satisfation! We trek right at the most beautiful terraced field in Mu Cang Chai, not to say the best in Vietnam since I had visited Sapa, Ha Giang, Hoa Binh many times. Mr Chu, the tour guide was a handsome man who also the host of Indigenous homestay. He was very nice and gave us a lot of interesting information. The trekking was hard because the fields’ bank was very thin, but the scenery was worth it. The terrace had so many levels and shined light golden field under the sun. There was a stream cutting through the fields to supply water. If you have a chance to visit Mu Cang Chai, it is highly recommended to spend at least a night at Indigenous homestay and take a half or full day trekking.

I highly recommend to do the trek if you stay with this family. They will bring you to walk all the morning through the amazing rice fields scenary of Mu cang Chai, passing by popular and but also remote spots. Challenging and beautiful. You will end by a lunch with the rest of the family in mountains.

What an awesome experience and a great challenge! I really enjoyed the day of trekking - one of my favourite experiences in Vietnam. There were times I thought I wouldn’t make it but I’m glad I pushed through because the views were spectacular and definitely worth it! Lunch was delicious and an awesome experience, walking through the villages and being able to eat traditional food with members of a Hmong family. I would definitely recommend this trekking tour to everyone. A truly unforgettable experience - thank you 🙂

I have been to alot of nice homestays in vietnam but in most of them you will always be that tourist who is treated differently and you will lose some of the culture and charm the country has to offer. At this place you get a closer look into how some vietnamiese lives their life while being in a really nice environment. They make their food over a bunfire which adds to the speciel atmosphere this place has to offer, so you can sit and warm yourself next to it while the cat is sleeping in your lab. Their tours are pretty cool aswell and the whole family is really sweet. Enjoyed my stay there to the fullest.

The tour was very nice, with lots of scenic views. Not a very hard trek, apart from a couple of relatively steep points, allows to enjoy the scenery. Unfortunately the weather was a bit cloudy when we went, but that didn't make the experience less enjoyable.
