We took a jeepney ride as a family from downtown Tacloban...the terminal by the fish pier and the McDonalds. We thoroughly enjoyed the view, the open air feel of the jeepney, and the slow speeds on the bridge. The driver let us out for photos...More

I've always wanted to walk across this bridge and finally had the opportunity on a gorgeous summer day. If you are in the area it's worth the time to walk to the center for the view and some great photos!

I wonder how past government was able to build infrastructure such as this. It's really something we (Filipinos) can all be proud of. So many typhoons have passed but it still stood up,unlike the many other smaller, poor quality infra that we have at present.

The title already describes San Juanico Bridge. It was built to perfection. The water below is clean. The view is scenic --- green everywhere. Hope to have bridges as this anywhere else in the Philippines.

Considering this bridge suffered slight damage from Typhoon Yolanda , all is back to normal. We stopped at the top and took pictures with out any problems. Just be careful when out of your vehicle.

It's a must place to visit. Very picturesque. Although you are not allowed to stop within the whole stretch of the bridge, you can just asked to be dropped off and meet your vehicle at the end of the bridge. It's a marvel that this...More

You can get a jeepney from Tacloban public market. Look for a jeepney saying Sanjuanico bridge. the fare would be Php 20.
