Love Mam Tor. Somehow always windy, but always a good walk and never get tired of the view. Walked from Lose Hill to Mam Tor then across to Mam Farm, through Cave Dale, then through Castleton across the fields back to Hope

The whole area is fantastic and the walks available in the area include flat lane walks to good hill walking on clearly marked paths. We are very fortunate as this area is only 20 minutes from Sheffield and so we can get there very quickly....More
After dropping into the Castleton visitor centre for a map, the walk was the most amazing introduction to the area, with the weather on our side the views were stunning, none us found the walk too much, even my 9 year old was impressed!
