Maragas beach is a long 6 kilometer stretch of beach with the finest sand on all of Naxos. If you are looking for a good beach location, make sure to book a couple days in Naxos - much better than any of the beaches on Santorini. Naxos was the perfect break from millions of tourists and this beach provides great... More

The beach is beautiful but know that part of this beach is a nude beach (the part going toward the little church). Water is very clear, and wonderful.

Stumbled upon this beach when we were taking a long walk from the hotel. Mostly older people sunbathing nude. Gay and straight couples..no singles. There is a nice boardwalk across the beach and no one seems to mind that you are there!

Plaka beach is the most famous beach in Naxos. Maragas is in the northern part of it. It is a great nude beach. The water is always very clean. There is a family owned restaurant, taverna paradiso right by, serving the best local delicacies. The northern part just under the tiny church (which is up on the hill ) is... More

This beach is across the long sandy coast of Naxos. The water is crystal clear and the beach, while close to Agia Anna and Agios Prokopios is by no means as crowded. There are a number of great restaurants along the beach and it is much easier to find lounge chairs. Definitely the best beach in Naxos - especially with... More

this beach is a little further from Agios Prokopios, but offers more relaxation and not so many people out of the season

Brilliant sandy beach with many beach bars and lots of space. Relatively cold waters. Not as crowded as St Prokopios.
