Have been going here for the last 5 years for my fruit and veggies and all my plants from pansies to Christmas decorations! In the past 2 years it had become the best place for all mentioned! Clean, friendly and the best variety for the money!! Definitely worth a visit if you are up that way!!

If you want an afternoon going from street to street hunting for little markets ,certain greenhouses sell out the back doors. It can be lots of fun and you are supporting the locals in the marsh. I wish the farmers had a bus every Saturday that would take you around these different markets with a teaching moment included .

What can I say. This is a wonderful place. The greens you eat are grown here. Lettuce, carrots, onions and every known veggie is grown and found here. The community is wonderful and very friendly. European and Asian farmers with big hearts.Visit Spring , summer and fall for a great outdoor experience. Community markets abound. Many Cyclists and fishermen line... More

Use to come here fishing when I was Yonge but now that I live close, it has an entirely different look to me. Besides the local farmers growing food, I can enjoy nature

Why travel all the way to Niagara Region when you can visit 30 min north of the city for a Winery. A quaint feel.. family operated winery. I recommend a visit.

This is mainly a group of farms that was originally marsh land. The marsh land was drained (much like parts of Holland) and canals dug to carry the water away. Last year one of the canal walls gave away, reflooding parts of the marsh. There are several places to purchase fresh vegetables during the growing season both just off of... More

This is not an attraction sight. The marsh is a farming area that has nothing other than large farm fields that are growing as long as the season can keep going. If you are looking for farm fresh veggies then you can purchase them at the market on Canal Rd.

Yesterday I stopped off at the Farmers Market at the Holland Marsh on the way home from dropping off 6 orphaned skunk kits at a Refuge. I am a seasoned Farm to Table Chef - I have a Facebook Page called Farm to Table - and I blog at Buckysview.com. I have driven by this market for years and have... More
