Beautiful

I visited the cathedral but did not go inside as a funeral service was being held. But I thought that the structure was impressive, as impressive as the other provincial cathedrals I have visited and photographed.

Centrally located in Bangued, this pastoral offers hotel accommodation to travelers at a reasonable price. Once can choose from air-conditioned to ordinary fan room at a reasonable price. They also have a canteen where you can have breakfast or dinner while you stay. Otherwise, there are several fastfood around the area as well like McDonald (24 hours open) , Jollibee, Chowking and Mang Inasal

The St. James the Elder Cathedral has a beautiful facade facing the public plaza of Bangued which is the capital of Abra Province. It is the place of worship for Catholics in Bangued and the center of religious activities in Abra.

Busy Cathedral
Dec 2014 • Solo
Like most Filipino towns influenced by Spanish colonization, it is right at the town center together with the plaza, municipal hall & business establishments. I saw 3 weddings in the 2 days I visited the Cathedral. It also has an adoration chapel.
