Enough to see and do for kids
Aug 2017 • Family
We enjoyed an afternoon, approx 2 hours here.
There is a gnome hunt you can take with small children, this will give you the tour, incl a lot of information. The grain mill (De Jonge Sophia) can be visited and the millers will explain the process.
And there is a nice play area with a terrace where you can enjoy ice cream or some drinks.

If you do want to see the storks, make sure you visit earlier in the year, as most will leave mid august.

Very Informatifve
Jul 2015 • Couples
You will find a lot of information, not only about the White Stork but also about the bee, duck, windmill etc. The entrance of the area is not easy to find because the board is covered by trees but you can see the flags. When you go inside the centre, you see directly some information about the White stork (also in a special corner), some tables where you can have a drink. And behind the centre, it begins your journey in this small "village". There is a path where on your left or right some places can be visited like a playground for the kids; bee house where you can see how the bee work in the hive; windmill that still work grinding wheat or corn; a duck cage, shows you how to catch ducks; here and there you see some nest of White stork. At this moment there are only four nest with the white stork family. A lot of open place with water so when you don't like any insect to bite you, please wear the trousers and closed shoes. The flowers are blooming now and the bee is working hard. By the way, there is an exposition of statue from Africa. By all means, it worths for your € 3,50.
