From the top of this small fort you have a great view on Ternate city, the ocean, to Tidore and Halmahera island with its volcanoes. Even great to take pictures from starting and landing aircraft. Nice garden in front of the fort.

Good for photoshoot, beautifull background, free, i can say it’s quite a must if you have spare time. Also good historical, spare some time to read about the history. This is one of the good fort in ternate, others already renovated

it is incredible that still standing these forts after almost 500 years. Very well mantain, nice gardens, explanation in Bahasa and English.This is part of a series of forts that still stand in Ternate and Tidore

This fort is the one in Ternate, it is well kept and easy to get too either by car or motorbike. The best time to go here is in the morning or early evening before the sun shining very strong on top of your head. You can watch a beautiful sunset from this fort.

The small fort Tolukko looks stunning renovated in 1994. Well kept but could do with some more information in english. It's a nice place to visit - look into wikipedia and read it's history before you go. There is an entryfee of 5000 rph.

The shape of the fort is still complete... We can explore the fort and the view is also breath taking.. sometimes we could see the plane take off or land.,

Very nice and maintained fort with wonderful ocean view! The shop was closed, but there is always someone at the place who has more information about the fort.

Fort is in a quite good state but when I visited the site there was no information about history available, and nobody there to tell you anything about it.

As my point of view, even though this fort is quite small, but this is one of the most beautiful fort I've ever seen in my life. Taking photos from the front side is a must.
