The Danteswari Temple is situated in the Dantewada district of Chattisgarh. The district has been named on the deity of the temple. The temple itself personifies peace and serenity. A must visit for the people traveling to Jagdalpur and other Bastar areas.

Situated at Dantewara district of Chhattisgarh...around 80 km from Jagdalpur. One of the Satipiths. Very simple looking....but mind fills with a nice feeling. No presence of "Panda" unlike other temples. Very clean, calm environment. Ample parking space. Nice feel...

You take a nice picture from the front but that's all. Inside the courtyard, a small temple and the back of the palace all blue and white. Nothing special.

I went to Danteshwari Temple. This temple is believed to possess several divine powers. Every year during Dussehra, thousands of tribals from surrounding villages and jungles gather here to pay homage to the goddess. It is great place to go.
