Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Great experience for anyone. The cave has no lights installed so you need to wear a helmet with a light. You can see the inhabitants like bats and piders. It has a beautiful water stream / creek flowing through the bed of the cave. Go for it! Children must be at least 6 years old (they check their health insurance ID for age)

I visited the cave with my 6 years old son (children less than 6 can not enter the cave). We were amazed. The guide was very friendly and funny. the cave is not electryfied so you wear helmet and flashlight. it was so cool. we enjoyed a lot. we had feeling like indiana jones. and the stream of the cleanest water we drunk that was also such an experience for us. I recommend to book the visit earlier coz the groups are limited. one group consists max of 15ppl.

I was really surprised how the cave looks inside. No lights inside. So at the entrance we've got helmet with light on it and that was it. Tour was on Slovakian only but didn't mind because it's so interesting inside. Tour guide was funny. This is the cave for the adventurers since it's open for the public 2 years ago. Ticket costs 8 euros per person but parking is for free and taking photos/videos are also for free. I would not recommend cave for people with younger kids.

I have visited Brestovska cave in September 2017. It was a Great experience as the case is newly opened and the visists are limited to certain number of visitors. There is no light instaled so we used just the Flash lights on our helmets and at the end of the cave we turned the lights of for a moment to experience real darkness. There is not too much to see in the cave but still it is very interesting to explore the tunels, cave river and other

I highly recommend the visit this cave but before do not forget to register for the specific time of the visit on the website.
