Fantastic place!
May 2021
We headed there last weekend and wow, it was truly worth a visit!

You have to sign in to an app before you walk in (and pay an entrance fee; parking, however, is free). There's a reataurant with a nice view (and the fries we had there were really tasty!), and a lot to do and see.

There's a path leading up, and then you can get even higher until you reach the very top and enjoy an absolutely fantastic view! But you can also walk through the forest and read about animals, have a look at some optical illusions, climb a wall, see animals, enjoy a playground and much more. There's also a house that's standing on its roof, but as the number of people being let inside is really limited right now, you better be prepared to wait at least one hour (and you have to pay 2€ extra for that) until you can enjoy it.

It was great enjoyed the Christmas Market vendors and the animals. Glad that we were able to go inside the upside down house.

Spectacular view
Mar 2019 • Friends
One hour there feels like a week long holiday to me. Beautiful walking path among the trees with a spectacular view over the Bavarian Forest. You can even see the Zugspitze, the highest mountain in Germany from there. Besides enjoying a walk in nature there are a lot of possibilities to learn about the animals that live nearby, optical illusions, the forest itself, ...
Perfect location for the whole family!
Take good foodwear. If you want to you can take the path back through the forest, with an uneven path.
Beautiful to see in all seasons. Muddy on rainy days.

Expected to visit for 1 hours and stayed 6
Dec 2018 • Couples
Definitely this place packs many attractions into one specially in the weekends of winter with its Christkindlmarkt. While the treetop view give it the name the upside down house and the many little games and facts around will keep you busy for much more time.

Great if you are not scared of heights
Mar 2018 • Couples
This walk is across a bridge overlooking the area and is 35 metres high at points. It is a fairly short walk with stunning views. There are also a lot of activities for children, including information about animals, a cave, optical illusions, etc. It’s an interactive walk suited to families and entrance is free if your hotel supplies the Aktive Card, which our’s did. The upside down house is quite fun, but costs extra.

Unusual experience
Nov 2017 • Family
Pity for the cold weather when we were visiting, but still it was a very enjoyable and informative visit.

The walk in the trees is a very unusual experience, and is enriched with displays of animals and trees for the kids to learn.

We didn't take the complete route on the ground, but there are more displays for everyone to learn about nature and how to protect it.

There is also a "mini" zoo, with a few animals and a couple of slides outside for the kids. In addition to this, there is also a nice big indoor playground which the kids enjoyed so much.

At the end we visited the restaurant, which has plenty of seating spaces, and offers a good choice for anyone.

Great experience with stunning views.Fantastic for adults and kids.
Aug 2017 • Family
Family visit. The-tree top walk is great and offers stunning views along the way. Apart from the walk their is plenty to keep the kids amused - interactive activities, animals etc.- very educational. Great location and well laid out. TIP - get there early and avoid the queues - it does get exceptionally busy.

Walk above the tree tips
Apr 2017 • Family
Trip with my family. Nicely done, walk along the tree tips with explanation about type and tree height, a nice view into the valley , at the bottom you can have few explanations about the forest life and optical phenomeas.
At the end of the tour is a playground and a "food corner" / restaurant. Ok, about 1-1,5h walk, all attraktion are neat and safe
