Has alot of these circles on the outside of the temple and locals go arround the temple and swipe them, this is for free But entering the temple has small fee , you can pay and get inside but nobody speaks english so you cant...More

well. i paid 20 dollar for going inside and just took few picture as time was rush. not enough time to visit but go outside the corridor is good for taking picture, also climb to opposite hill and see the white tower also the Yala...More

Very rich history that goes back a long long time. We visited on the eve of a 5 day celebrations and they are busy decorating the monastery. We're told that the place will be swarmed with thousands of devotees for the next 5 days. One...More

It is simply good. A very typical Tibetan style temple. Many lamas in it. The statues and Buddhist wall paintings are marvelous. You can feel and see the spirituality of Tibetan people. I went here in early August. So no ceremony then.

Lhagang temple(Tagong) is one of the biggest sakya temple in the region.specially worth to visit during the summer festival, when you can see the cham dances unfortunately the first picture shows aother monastery i think in kangding.

An amazing place which is a must-visit spot when you go to Kangding County, it's very windy and cold as it's winter now and the temple is really stupendous.

It's a decent enough temple, worth a visit while passing through. The grassplains and mountains in the surrounding area are the real winners.
