When you do this river go with the company out of Archidona called River People. They are top notch. They were the first to do it and know all the cool spots!

This is a stunning jungle river with fantastic primary jungle through steep sided ravines. The grade 3 rapids are playful and plentiful with just enough time to take in the sceanary. The action ramps up a notch when it joins the Hollin river with some...More

Very good experience. I strongly recommend it. The canyon is really beautiful, and the rafting not complicated if the river is in optimal conditions.

Get with The River People for their tour of this river. Not too bad but felt much better with a group that really knew this river.

There are optional put-ins to choose between depending upon your kayaking skills. The natural scenery and wildlife are primal. Swinging cable bridges still used by locals cross the river occasional but otherwise the run feels quite remote.
