Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

My friend and I did two one-day hikings. The first day: Koppelo trail which started from the Tervahärvi parking and was said to be 8,3 km. The route was very well marked. Mainly the trail was in the forests, there were quite s lot of peaks and troughs especially in the beginning ( we walked clock-wise). In the end the path was easier, but all in all the route was rockier than we thought and as the paths were very worn out, the roots of trees made walking sometimes difficult. There were couple of nice places for swimming. The day two: just a short Kettu ( Fox) trail, less than 4km. Quite easy route around the lake, the starting point at the Lapinsalmi parking. This trail obviously is the most popular among families with children. We walked ant-clock wise, which was a good choice as we could end our hiking at the Lapinsalmi hanging bridge, swim and then just walk 0,5km to the parking place. At the parking place there is a kiosk, we ate a salmon soup and a smoked reindoor soup, both excellent choices.

the park has endless beauty, you can walk for hours and still discover amazing spots for wonderful sights.

This national park is a treasure, filled with unending greenery, lakes, hills, mushrooms, berries and so much more such as camping. You might walk for hours before realizing that you are tired.

The park has different trails with the most famous one going through Lapinsalmi - the famous bridge. We took the 5km trail. We were with two kids - 5 and 3. 3yo was riding a n ergo bag on my back, 6 yo was fine. We had stops of course, and overall it took us around 3 hours of fun, nature, breathtaking views and great fun!

Been hiking and camping in Repovesi a couple of times and it's always a great experience. The landscapes are beautiful and the trails vary from easy to some with quite steep hills. The camping areas get crowded during summer weekends, so if you can, go during the week. One of the main "gateways" to the park, the Lapinsalmi suspencion bridge is now torn down and they're building a new one during this autumn. But there's a boat taking people from the parking area to the park. When we were leaving on saturday there were tens of people waiting at the pier to be taken across. And they are expecting 500 people there next weekend so keep in mind that you won't be enjoying the park by yourself... One of the wells (Määkijä) was dry or for some other reason didn't provide water. Toilets pretty clean (very very smelly though), the fireplaces ok too.

The Repovesi national part is a wonderful place with amazing nature.
We went through the Ketunlenkki trail which is probably the most popular one. Usually there's a bridge at one end of the trail, but now it is closed. There's a boat shuttle to take you across the lake instead. working until 18.00.
The trail itself is wonderful - not too long (about 5 KM) and definitely recommended to all nature lovers.

Visited with a friend just to check how they have arranged crossing Lapinsalmi to get to the park. The boat trip was actually nice especially when the weather was good and there were not so many visitors. Looking forward to try the new bridge whenever it'll be ready.

Two of us rented a kayak and explored the whole Repovesi area during two days. Great views, excellent camping spots, even fishing.

Excellent place, love all the spots where you can make a fire. Plenty of dry toilets and places where you can get water.
