It was a pleasure to walk through the market over the December holidays without been harrassed by stall owners. As a local and someone that visits chameleon on a monthly basis it was a refreshing change. I hope more people will post their positive remarks...More

Almost everything under one roof if you are looking for curios. The vendors can be a bit pushy, but are very willing to bargain with you. You are assured of good prices as a result of the competition around. The curios come from all over...More

You can see many venomous snakes and constrictors at the snake and reptile park at Chameleon village. What I was most impressed with was the demonstration of the snakes. We were taught how to identify the family of snake as well as the snake itself,...More

The reptile park is quite informative, a wide variety of snakes and mammals, the snakes look well-kept and some were active on my visit- it was great to see the snakes move especially the bigger ones. One would find a Crocodile, Caracal, Monkey's, Tortoise, Rabbits,...More

Good for tourists seeking purchases of good quality African arts and some south African meals. Crepes and German take away also available. Vendors Can become a little overwhelming to tourists notnwillimg to buy. Hard sell approach may seem forceful to some and possible uncomfortable.

Stalls all have the same thing, or similar. If your a foreign tourist wanting to buy souvenirs, then you might like this place. For a local, not so much. Plus the stuff is way over priced.. The artwork though is really beautiful.

This type of Destination is more for foreign tourists looking to buy gifts for families in their countries. Quite interesting to stroll and look around at all the hand made goodies being sold. Good activity to pass time.
