My son and I traveled to Yumoto on 8th July to visit the Fossil Museum and Spa Resort Hawaiians. The fossil museum is a 15 minute walk from the station, across the overhead bridge and turn left (north). There are few sidewalks so be careful, as cars will be passing you really closely. The museum had exhibits on prehistoric animals that used to live in Iwaki, geology, life in a coal mining town, and about Spa Resort Hawaiians, Iwaki's main claim to fame nowadays.
