decent food in a brewery type atmosphere

During a recent visit to Fairbanks, we planned to visit twice (since it is 30 minutes from town). We ended up going a second time because the food was soo delicious. And the beer and service were top notch also. The best restaurant in the entire world!

We popped in here because my boss suggested a good beer to try. We only had 5 days in Alaska for our trip and I needed a good beer. The Pix Axe Porter was great. The bartender was fabulous and we had a good time sitting and chatting with some local gals that worked at the gold mine. Food was... More

A cab driver recommended this place to my sister and I as he drove us to pick up a rental car. He was right on point! This was a very cool place, and expanded tin building, with two stories, and reported ghosts. Our food was delicious, the service was great, and my IPA hit the spot!

We loved the Asiago Artichoke Spinach dip! The beer selection is great and we enjoyed all that we tried. Wish I could say our food was as awesome. It was decent, but a little pricey. Service was good, the atmosphere and décor are very good.

I had the chili which was excellent and then had a bison burger which was good but didn't like the sauce they put on it. All in all a good experience. They had a lot of beers and in house brews so if you are a beer person you should try this place.

Sat at the bar and ordered some tasters. Jimmy's Brew was absolutely excellent, as was the raspberry beer (more cider-like ale). All the beers were very good and the halibut hush puppies were also great. The tartar sauce is the best I've ever had.

On my last night in Alaska, I took myself out on a date at Silver Gulch. I arrived at 630 and by the time I left, the place was packed. I was impressed with everything the brewery had to offer: First, there's ample parking. Second, I was greeted by an excellent hostess who actually came back to check on me... More

We had a bit of difficulty finding the restaurant so we arrived at 930pm. Wasn't made to feel welcomed by waitress. The restaurant closes at 10pm and the waitress said that the bar may have had last call. My husband enjoyed the beer but could not get another. Food took some time to come out. Halibut was delicious. Felt rushed... More
