About
From our small, family-run workshop in An Rinn, Co. Waterford, we craft precise hand cut crystal products for discerning customers around the world. The products we make are stories made physical. More than just useful objects, they create meaningful connection with our rich culture, history, nature and language. Criostal na Rinne is situated on the coast of west Waterford in Ireland’s Ancient East, near the Waterford Greenway. We are nestled a short distance from historic towns and villages such as Lismore, Dungarvan, Ardmore and Youghal. We are located just 8km off the N25 between Dungarvan and Cork near the R674 to An Rinn and Ceann Heilbhic. Visit Criostal na Rinne to experience the craft of crystal cut by hand, a skill that the area is noted for. Eamonn gives free tours and demonstrations both individually and to groups, showing the techniques of a master craftsman and explaining the history of glassmaking in the area stretching back hundreds of years to the present day.

- ukhokieSeoul, South Korea20 contributionsFantastic Experience for the Whole FamilyWe dropped in to Eamonn's studio on a whim and very glad that we did. It was the highlight of our trip to Waterford. He was an excellent host and teacher. The children and adults learned a lot about the history of Waterford Crystal and glass cutting. He takes pride in his work and is very passionate about it which shines through all he does. He even spoke some Irish with the children. We couldn't decide on what to buy as all the pieces are very lovely but will definitely be visiting his online shop soon. We did, however, take home with us a glass jam jar cut by his son and filled with delicious orange marmalade made by his wife. Fantastic experience and one we will always remember. - PatserMaynooth, Ireland16 contributionsAbsolute gent, and very interesting visitHad a fantastic visit with Eamon, when 3 generations of our family called in to visit. Eatmon was able to deal effortlessly with Grandparents and their memories of crystal, parents looking at all the glasses and gaggle of kids asking whether they could throw the glass plane, or grabbing everything and anything. All while showing off his engraving skills. Eamon also switching merrily between English and Irish as kids showed off what they were learning in school. Great place to call in to, highly recommendedVisited August 2023Travelled with familyWritten 3 September 2023

Eamon, a master glass cutter, designs and creates stunning and unique crystal glass items for all occasions. He created the most beautiful toasting flutes for my son and his lovely bride. They were engraved, packaged, and sent and in ample time for the wedding. His workshop, where there are also many items for sale, is open daily. Groups are welcome. Do stop in for a chat and a look. Wonderful experience. Eamonn Terry, the owner and master craftsman glasscutter was so kind and willing to share his time. The glass cutting demo was far more informative than at Waterford. He answered all questions. His products are amazing - it was very difficult to decide which to buy. We have already ordered more since returning home. The studio is in a beautiful location and the drive was wonderful. Highly recommend.

We picked up the leaflet in Waterford and decided to look for Criostal na Rinne the next day. We found it located in a small village after a scenic drive. Wonderful to speak to Eamonn himself and to get the thourough explation of how chistal is cut including demontstrations. Amazing craftmanship! We were happy to have a browse around the small showroom after and buy some wonderful pieces. They were sustainable packed and safe to go back on the plane with us.

An amazing experience with such a gifted craftsman ; I was fortunate to hear about Eamon and his work through an article in the Examiner. He undertook an intricate repair job on my Waterford crystal items and I am so delighted with the outcomes. Many thanks Betty from Wilton.
