Have visited Solas and Mara spa a couple of times and have always really enjoyed it. I visited with my sister and we booked the seaweed bath and massage package. We enjoyed our massages first (in separate treatment rooms),we were givens options as to which massage we’d like and were able to discuss our preferences for pressure and any areas we wanted to focus on beforehand and the therapists were absolutely excellent. The massages were brilliant and the communication was outstanding throughout. Afterwards we moved to the seaweed bath room, there was two baths partially filled and both had seaweed added. We were able to adjust the temperature ourselves. The room also had a steam box that we could sit in beforehand to open our pores. The bath was very relaxing and my skin felt great afterwards. There was seaweed products available to buy from the spa. The staff were so lovely and friendly and made the experience more enjoyable. The treatments were top class. The spa is situated in a beautiful location and the views are absolutely stunning. We agreed it was fantastic value for money and will keep coming back. A visit to Solas na Mara is such a treat!

This was a fantastic little place. The staff were so lovely and the hot stone massage was one of the best I ever had. Absolutely happy to recommend this no-nonsense spa location.

First time for seaweed bath. Had back massage 1st which was lovely. Dress gown provided but a bit small (I'm size 14/16) and basket to pop my clothes in. Waiting in rexlation area but unfortunately pier upgrade was noisy. But on another could be nice.
The seaweed bath was interesting. The steam box first, then bath had small amount of water to start you off. Music throughout the building which suit the spa. Gave you door on the door in time to have the dreaded cold shower. The bath treatment room might need a update sooner rather than later (pipe wrapped to stop leak) understand with covid people just happy to be open for customers.
Overall lovely treat.

Visited this little gem with friends and it was the perfect tonic after a day of hiking! We availed of the single seaweed baths and the staff at reception were very accommodating to provide me with a last minute massage also. Very relaxing and the prices are also very reasonable. There is a nice cafe area at reception and on a sunny day it would be lovely to sit outside. I would recommend Solas na Mara as a fantastic way to spend your time and the area of An Rinn (Ring) is lovely.

Enjoyed a wonderful two-person seaweed bath with my husband who had concerns earlier but loved the feeling it gave him afterwards. I had a wonderful facial following the seaweed bath with Amanda. Amazing! I Will book more facials!

2 ladies went here on a rainy day. It filled a couple of hours but I would not recommend. We had separate baths. Staff were friendly and undoubtedly the seaweed oil softened our skin but overall the experience was not worth the journey, from Dungarvan, nor the cost. The bath was old, with rust on the floor & there was a leak underneath. The stream bath was nice but hardly relaxing when you have to reach down & keep pulling a lever to release steam. The towels were bordering on threadbare & although the music was relaxing, I could hear staff chatting & banging around for much of my time. One tea light candle was the extent of atmosphere.
For €30, I would expect better basics if not a beautiful view or glass ceiling.
When we came out of the baths, the relaxation room across the way appeared to be closed (probably due to covid). I expected a refreshing piece of fruit or sorbet to be offered but apart from the free plastic bottle of water provided on entry to the baths, all other offerings had a cost.
I think a few basic improvements could make this a little gem.
