Tour in Kultaranta Garden
Aug 2019
I took part for one hour guided tour in this lovely garden of president`s summer residence. The garden was very beautiful and everything was blooming, the weather was sunny and the official guide was excellent. So the visit was perfect.

Tour in the gardens of presidential residence in Kultaranta was really worth of visit. The tour guide was excellent and explained the history of Kultaranta in a capturing way. The weather in July was favourable and the gardens were blooming.

Exhibition of statues and garden
Jul 2018 • Couples
Visited with a group here at presidential summer place's garden. Very good presentation of all the statues at garden. Beautiful walks and hedges. Good history lesson for us. Takes an hour to do and you can attend the other tour right after if lucky.

Hi Martti and thank you for the review! It is very nice to hear that you enjoyed our themed tour "101 years and 12 presidents". It is indeed planned so that one can attend to the regular garden tour right after this one. Hopefully you can visit Naantali soon again! Unna / Visit Naantali

12 presidents' guided tour of the Summer Residence of the President of Finland.
Aug 2017 • Friends
There are guided tours of the gardens and estate everyday in the summer - but this 'the 12 presidents' is a special tour to commemorate Finland's 100 years of independence.

The tour is on Wednesdays only - at 1pm - and available in Finnish, Swedish and English.(13€)

It was really interesting and informative - with snippets of information about each of the presidents and their time at the summer residence.

No need to book ahead - and groups are divided to be 35people or less.

Note the gardens are open to the public (free) on Friday evenings 6-8pm only.

Beautiful Gardens
Sep 2016
The estate was beautiful; flowers blooming; well kept. We even saw a robot mower operating to keep the grass trim. It was a pleasure to walk the grounds of the President's vacation home.

A sight seen
Aug 2016 • Couples
A nicely maintained garden of the president in neat, but without a vow-effect. The grass parts are fine as are the flower beds, but the statues are not 'up my alley'. Still pleased we went.

Beautiful but not so big as one would expect
Jul 2016 • Friends
We participated an hour guided tour to this park, for 13 EUR it is quite expensive to my taste. The tour was good and professional, but I was somehow expecting a lot bigger park. The park reminds me of central European castle parks, but even smaller. However, there are a few photo spots one should visit.

Nice in summer. We have visited there in the spring and most of flowers were not blooming yet, but for sure in an warm summer day it´s an absolutely awesome place.

Nice place but wasn't worth of price
Jul 2015 • Family
I assumed the price of guided tour for two adults and child would include more exploring the area and that the guide would tell us about the garden flowers and plants. The guided tour wasn't anything like that. Very brief story about original founder and owner of Kultaranta park and with that some references relating to previous presidents of Finland. The accurate description for this tour could be called "brief visit in the park's hallway". The guide was able to tell the group that "there behind those trees is something or there is building" and yet we couldn't see it, because most of the trespasses were signed with "only personnel" signs. We didn't walk with this guide even near the buildings or these few places she told us. For tourists I would recommend to skip this place and instead of it to visit in Turku Castle: lower price for guided tour and much more to see.

Nice park but too little history!
Jul 2015 • Friends
The park is beautiful and the one-hour visit was entertaining - even too much, as we would have wanted to hear more about the history of the summer residence and the Finnish Presidents, rather than their cats and dogs. It was clearly targeted to the families with kids coming from the Muumimaailma... :)
