Not working logistics. One mile walk from the nearest parking. Half of the shops closed. Totally over priced. No signs and even bad/wrong signs.

Attractive theme park
Sep 2019
The place is easy to reach. There is frequent bus service from the old town square in Turku. The nearby small town is quiet and attractive.

Boring & Expensive.Don't even think of going as couple.
Feb 2020 • Couples
We visited the place to see winter magic. We actually thought it would atleast some artificial winter like structure. Unfortunately (No snow in Helsinki side this year). But nothing . It's just few characters and that's it. We finished whole park in 45 mins. And about cost - I paid exactly double in Disney land and it's had 500% more activities to do .
Plus I would really like to add, Please mention in Web Site that this place is only If you have 1 to 7 years old kids.
****Big Big no if you are coming as couples.**** ****Not at all for you..... *******

Family trip
Oct 2019 • Family
We chose october for visiting because then there is less people and more room for discovering the island. Also some attractions are already closed for winter but you can see all the main things anyway. When we vist, the weather was rainy and cloudy but it didn’t hesitate us because you can enjoy theatre under the roof and there are many things to do inside. I would recommend taking sandwiches with you and have a nice picnic at the seaside or maybe even in the moomintrolls room, where is very nice view from the window.

This theme park is not about rides or machines. It is like stepping to a different world and fairy tale. Great for kids and adults alike!

Great park to visit with young kids!
Aug 2019 • Family
The park is very pleasant, full with attractions for kids and adult moomin lovers alike. My advice would be to try and ignore the shopping alley on the way to Moomin house. After visiting it, go on to the nature trail and the sea shore, and have a swim! After all those must-dos, do have a lunch at moomin mama's kitchen :-). We all enjoyed our visit, and it was totally worth the high price and the detour that we had to Turku! I personally was really excited to meet my role model, moomin mamma :-). My daugters were very pleased too, and we continue discussing the visit, even that it was already a week ago.

First time for us here. Great park, cute characters and just lovely place for kids and parents. This park is easily accessible and has all the things family needs during the stay. I think the best age for visit is 2-5 years old.

10/10 would recommend if you are a fan of Moomin
Jul 2019
So me and my friend (24 years old) had a great time at Moomin world! We stayed for about 3,5 hours, a lunch break and a theater show included, and for us it was the perfect spent time. We got to see everything we wanted. I'm the biggest moomin fan, so this was a dream come true for me. We were there on a very sunny and warm July 21st, but still there weren't too much people.

But what I really want to talk about is how to get there, because that wasn't easy. Yes, there is information on the website, but even with that it wasn't easy. So here is how we did it:
-Took the train from Helsinki to Turku, which is about 2 hours
-Took the bus from Turku to Naantali, which is about 30 mins. You can take both the 6 and 7 bus. We were there on a sunday, so they only left every 30 mins. We took the 6 and went off at the last stop. You can't pay with a credit card, so make sure to have cash or download the app, Föli. We walked like 10-15 mins from the train station to the bus stop. When we went to the island we took the bus from the library and we got back we got off at the stop that said Turku bus station.
-Walked about 15 mins from the bus stop to the bridge to the Moomin island. There is like only one sign at the start at the walk that points to the island. Follow the road to your right when you get of the bus. We walked along side a park until we got to the bridge. On our way back we walked through the old town of Naantali.

They say there is a Moomin bus that takes you from hotels in Turku to Naantali. But that bus only leaves once during the day, in the morning, so you have to be there when it goes. We took the earliest train we could to get to Turku, which arrived around 10.30 pm. The bus left Turku like an hour before, so for us it was useless.

If you are still reading this, congrats and I hope you have a great time at Moomin World!

The place where every child smiles

This is the best entertainment park for kids I have ever been. You can spend the whole day in there, the kids are well cared for and entertained. My little ones loved it - she is a great fan of Moomins. We definitely be coming back
