A must visit in Finland
Jul 2021
Lovely wooden houses at a busy harbour with little quaint shops, nice cafes and restaurants. Very typical for the area with lots of care put into neatness and beauty like flower arrangements, parks and children`s playgrounds. A beach to swim at right behind the church. The children`s playpark ’moominland’ across the bridge and the Merisali restaurant to eat at after. The president`s summer castle across the bay reachable by bridge.
Suntown Naantali is well worth the trip.

Small nice area

One can only imagine how busy this area must be during the summer time. Old wooden houses with strictly restricted traffic, small boutiques and cafes. I

Really nice to walk araound the small alleys and look at the old buildings with decirations and small shops and cafes. Especially the small yachy harbour is nice during these summer days.

Summer town
Jul 2020
Nice day strolling around a lovely and classical Finnish summer town. The old town is really cute and especially the old buildings are really photogenic. Must see place in Southern Finland. The restaurants close rather early

The old town with it’s low buildings of different style and color create unique atmosphere. Lots of restaurants and hotels.

Charming place
Jun 2020 • Family
A pretty old town. By the sea. Nice place to walk as you can see a lot of wooden Finnish homes. There is a pier of restaurants to sit with a view to the sea and boats.

attractive local town
Sep 2019
Though small, Naantali is worth going. This small local town is quiet but beautiful. You can spend an hour or so walking along the coastline, enjoying the marvellous sight. Otherwise take a short break in the park or in one of the restaurants, while waiting for the sunset.

Narrow alleys, old wooden houses, boutiques, restaurants and the sea. Very beautiful views from the harbour and the cliffs.

Clean, Interesting, Quiet
Sep 2019
We visited in September so it was certainly a quieter time of year. Many restaurants were closed but we still enjoyed walking around the town. There are many places to stop, sit, and enjoy the views. We enjoyed just looking at the buildings, plants, colors, and natural beauty of this area.

No parking spaces in the summer
Jul 2019 • Family
Lovely old town, I’ve visited Naantali before a couple of times. Maybe worth the trouble of finding a parking space if you’re here for the Moomins. We ended up driving away without stopping, because we simply couldn’t find a parking space. Most of the parking has a 2 hour limit and you might have to walk quite a bit if you drive further outside downtown. We just wanted to stop for a stroll and a coffee, so we ended up going elsewhere.
