Naantali Church
Aug 2019
Naantali Church is a medieval church. It is easy to reach because it is in Naantali Old Town. Beautiful both outside and inside.

Historical church

Looks beatiful outside. Inside is dull. The place has a long history of monestry. A place of conserts.

I was not able to get inside the church today but will try again soon. It is a wonderful structure and very picturesque in the autumn setting.

Beautiful stone Church near the sea
Feb 2018 • Family
Located near Muumi island and next to Naantali old town. Beautiful and harmonious stone building with history. Nice cemetery and especially peaceful during summer time when flowers and park surroundings are green and colourful. I recommend to visit.

Great church in pretty Naantali
Aug 2017 • Couples
The church stands on a hill by the water and looks attractive and is photogenic. The views from its hill are Excellent over the water, islands, boats and countryside. There is a viewing platform to maximise views. The area round the church is Grass and trees with easy walks in it.

Very beautiful and peaceful
May 2017 • Couples
As we walked the path from the Naantali Spa and Resort we started to see the church peak through the tree branches. I'm thankful our visit was in the spring before the tree leaves bloomed because it made for some beautiful photography of the church. It was so peaceful that we spent at least an hour wandering around the church and cemetery taking some great photographs and enjoying the atmosphere. The church wasn't open the first day we were there so we made a point of coming back when it was open. I wish we could have heard the pipe organ play but at least we got to see it. The inside is huge for a large congregation and absolutely breathtaking.

Old church on a beautiful place
Aug 2016 • Couples
It is open only two days a week short times, so if you want to see inside this church plan you trip carefully.

Took French friends to visit, got a surprise private tour from amazing janitor
Jul 2016 • Friends
Popped by today, and we were extremely surprised and happy to receive a very knowledgeable tour from the blue-haired janitor/guard. This guy should definitely become an official tour guide of the church! My French friends did not understand the 'Vahtimestari' plackard on his chest and asked him very difficult questions, believing him to be a tour guide, and he delivered perfectly, knowing more about the church than many real tour guides knew about their work places in places like Turku's Handicrafts museum or Apothecary museum. My friends were very impressed with the church and I was really happy for this wonderful surprise, as my own knowledge about the church was non-existent. Such a great experience, especially as it was my friends' last day in Finland. Thank you so much!!
