About
Finland's largest VillageShop is more than just shopping. We want to give more to our customers, which is why there is always something interesting going on in the Village Shop. More than a hundred events, small and large, are organised in the Village Shop area each year. In addition to the events, the front yard of Tavarapuoti called Kesätori (Summer Market) offers cheerful market atmosphere with its sales booths. In the summertime, take a free tour around the VillageShop area in the SummerTrain or play a round of golf in our Minigolf track on the banks of the Tuuri River.

We perform checks on reviews
Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

You can find anything you need in here. But it is odd how they have created an association of an inexpensive shopping mall. It is not cheap prices here

A big disappointing the whole place. The enormous structure of the taste, which is better suited to Kuwaita than Ostrobothnia. Really a lot of people and congestion and price level just the same as in other shops. Never again here.

We go there 2-3 times a year with our camper van and for us clearly the best time is a weekend in July. All the hullabaloo in the peak season is just so wild that we just want to see it year after year! We don't go there specially for shopping so we don't care about the prices, just as long as it's not much more expensive than in other places it's just fine. The camping site is nice and really cheap, although often we stay on the parking lot for the night(s) as 100+ others because we don't usually need anything from the camping place. The only negative thing that comes to mind is like some other have said, Vesa's burgers are no good. Fortunately there are plenty of other places to get the daily grease and salt.

Most people come here with their cars but you can get here also with public transportation. Especially if you don't plan to buy so much as we did. The hotel and its stunning suite was the reason for us to come here.

There is a train connection to Tuuri three times a day from Seinäjoki or Jyväskylä. The train station is located next to the mall.

Beside of being a mall, the place is a tourist attraction. For families with children, there is an amusement park in the summertime and a Moomin playground.

Inside the mall, you can find many restaurants if you get hungry while shopping.

Shopping center with lots of various brands under one roof. Not THAT cheap, has a “dollar store” atmosphere when in fact isn’t that cheap. Has various restaurants/cafes, Alko, an adventure park and an amusement park within a walking distance.
Also has a semi-hilarious wall of fame for Vesa Keskinen’s achievements. Overall, the place has become an icon, a must place to visit, while hereabouts.

A shopping mall for cheap stuff to be frank.. A strange combination of amusement park and a super store, kind of like a K-Mart. This is a landmark place for the basic finn..the ones who run after bargains.

This is a giant indoor shopping center. If you like shopping and don't care about environmental issues, this is the place to go. I hated the place and would never had gone there, but my relatives wanted to visit it. You can bye the same clothes everywhere, mass production, nothing creative or individual. We had lunch in one of the restaurants. The soup was rather nice. The meal in Finland always includes bread, butter, drink and coffee. For that it was good value.

If you're not a fan of tons of people and hustle and bustle then this is not your place. I visited it during the summer holiday season and it was a short visit. The shop is very large and I guess there is almost everything a person would like to have :)
There are some smaller shops, restaurants and a hotel too.
Outdoors there is a campig area and lots of other stuff too.
Perhaps I go back again in another time, during weekdays after the holiday season.

Weird complex, mixed all kind of style. Respect for Vesa, but there’s working not so professional finnish youngster whom service skills are not so good. There’s no place for the pets and Vesa’s hamburgers were not good. Hope all best for the small city. It wasn’t not good place for us, because I respect nature and wise choises. It’s place for shopping people who don’t care. If you don’t care, go there.
