This is amazing place for enjoying the view. If you are a wind and history lover this is a right place to go. I was disappointed because museum was closed on saturday, but also not sure that I would go regarding the prices outside the main season

The fortress is 18 metres tall and 23 metres wide, square construction having walls approx. 2 to 3 metres thick. Several large cannon are positioned in the openings along the walls. Displays of weapons and household items.

I didn't go into the castle but walked around. There's a good view of the town, a restaurant and museum inside, and the castle itself is in very good condition for its age. It's just a two minute drive from the town centre and well signed. It would make for a steep, strenuous but shortish walk!

We stopped by at the Nehaj Castle during a super-windy day. They have days like this about once in a month due to the geological location of the city. The castle was really worth seeing! The building is well preserved both inside and oitside and the view from the third floor. There is also a restorant inside the castle.

I was up there, when it was windy and raining. The castle is rather big, and you can climb up there by feet. The castle has a multi floor museum. Worth to look, when the weather is not good enough to lying on the beach. Also the park near the castle is very nice.

It looks rather small from the outside, almost like a toy castle but we were suprised how roomy n informative the castle n now museum is.

Well worth the walk - can be visited by car, car park at top beside castle.... We walked and the path, although quite a climb was well made and had occasional seating available as you progressed up the path.. Amazing views as we walked up and stunning from the top. We went into the castle and up to the viewing point.... More
