Our last visit was a number of years ago and it was amazing, last week we were shocked to see how shabby and run down it has become. Whilst the aquariums and fish pools were acceptable, we were rather shocked to see the state of...More

Enjoyable visit. Sadly the otter had died so no otters but the seals were entertaining. Nice to see two rescued ones in the sanctuary too. Good aquarium and good trails/activities to complete for medals. Ticket valid for 7 days so useful if you miss the...More

I enjoy a Sea Life centre and this was my first visit to a sanctuary and I was really looking forward to it especially as who doesn't love Seals but I must admit I found it a tad disappointing. Firstly it's quite small we managed...More

Planned a trip here as I have a soft spot for seals! Great day out, the talks, touch pools and feeding time with the seals add to the day. The girl giving the talks today was very knowledgable and was very informative making sure she...More

Thanks for your fin-tastic 5* review of our Sanctuary. We do find that our lovely resident seals do tend to steal the show! I will pass your comments on to our team - they will be delighted with your feedback. It's great to know that...More

We enjoyed the aquarium areas, but the seal hospital was depressing. There was a seal who looked rather ill lying on the bottom of a waterless pool, which didn’t put much hope in us for its future. The awful rendition of “I’ll stand by you”...More

We really enjoyed ourselves inspite of the rain and with Tesco vouchers, a visit to the sanctuary is excellent value. The aquarium is substantial and there are regular talks and touch pool sessions throughout the day. There are currently 2 baby seals in the hospital/rehabilitation...More

Bit of background...we traveled up to Fort William on the sleeper as a family of 3. Our little one is coming up to 3. We got a self catering place in between Fort William and Oban and the sea life sanctuary was pretty much on...More

Mainly done for family gatherings but prices are quite expensive. The otters, main attraction, look happy but their water is not has you could see from the side of the pool some kind of micro-algae growing up... We were expecting far more from it.

Thanks for your review - we think this may be for the wrong SEA LIFE as we only had one resident otter, Lewis, who recently passed away.
