Well worth the detour , it's not often you get to engage with sculpture on this scale - or is it really architecture , or is it theatre ; who knows but it's worth experiencing.

If you happen to drive through Pinsiö, which, let's face it very few people happen to do, don't hesitate to stop here. It's a quite cool place in an old sand quarry, giving you serious ideas of a post apocalyptic Hobbiton. The world famous artist, Nancy Holt for some reason planned and executed this landmark along the backroads of the Finnish countryside and it's a shame it is so rarely visited. The park (for want of a better word) is in fact a great place to bring kids to. It's easily accessible and fun to explore but if it's hot, bring a water bottle.…
