Challenging and steep hike but worth it for the view at the top. Bring good hiking shoes and water and be prepared to scramble over rock faces at some points. There is a small parking lot at the start of the trail that's a bit...More

Visitors always go to Mt Daniel but the Pender Hill experience is easier and a way nicer view. Take a picnic and plan on making it an experience.

This hike is a nice workout up a fairly steep, rough path through attractive woodland with not much in the way of views. Until you get to the top!! The view from the top will have you reaching for superlatives if you visit on a...More

This is a good hike but it's uphill most of the way. The view at the top is worth it, though. On a clear day if would be fantastic but we were on a cloudy day so it was only so-so.

I wouldn't call myself a hiker by any stretch... The hike was roughly 45 minutes one way and although there were areas where I needed to take a few deep breaths... It's still easy enough for me to not be sore the next day. If...More

This trail is relatively short but a steep climb up. However the view at the top is spectacular. It would be a nice spot to picnic and someone has thoughtfully constructed a rustic log bench

Parking is very limited only a tiny spot maybe 6 cars. Quite steep going up but take it slow and it is worth it.

Our trek up and down is about 45 minutes. However the views at the top will keep you much longer. Bring a bottle of water in the summer, It is dry, dry, dry. Plan to spend at least 1/2 hour to take in the views,...More

This trail is a good climb to the top but is fairly short. The trail could have had more switchbacks designed into it in the middle section other wise it was a nice trail through the trees to the top of Pender Hill. Once at...More

Me again...sorry, didn't say anything about the elevation. The Sunshine Coast Trails website says it's about 220 meters and the hiking trail is about 3/4 km.
