Straight up, go on a Saturday. They start some engines which was really awesome to see and hear and they only do that on a Sat. Call ahead to check what time. There are two large hangers and we spent over two hours there with a 5 and 6yo in tow. Some craft kids can get into. There were a... More

We stopped by the Aviation Heritage Museum a few weeks ago and were so happy that we made the trek to see it as it is one of the best museums we have seen in a long time. I think the sheer scale of the place is impressive and all the planes and helicopters they have on display and the... More

I've lived in Perth for 8 years on and off and had no idea this museum existed. We took our 2 young boys to the museum and they loved it. The planes and helicopters on display are incredible and the displays are set up so you can get up close and have a good look. I thoroughly enjoyed it too... More

I have lived in the area for 25 years and never been. Finally changed that today and it's a fantastic place. The presentation is a credit to the personnel who manage/volunteer the museum and I can thoroughly recommend it. I spent 2 hours there with our twin 7 yo boys.

Visited with friends from overseas one of whom is interested in all things aviation. The entrance fee is very small and they have loads of great stuff in there to look at. The volunteers there are so friendly and well informed. We spent a very pleasant morning out of the rain. Great for all ages.

Seeing the machinery used to win WW!! in the skies makes the history book dull by comparison. You couldn't find a better representation of these aircraft, tended by loving informative volunteers. Both static and DVD displays make this place a MUST for children and adults of all ages. Excellent Disability access and toilet facilities, limited snack foods available. Allow enough... More

Fantastic trip through aviation history. Lots of planes and memorabilia to see and very well presented. Visited with small children and there was plenty to occupy them. $10 entry for adults and $5 for children over 4. Took around 3 hours to see all the displays. Free parking out front.

People find it hard to believe there' a magnificent Lancaster in fabulous condition that would take comparatively little effort to get into the air again. You'd think with Gina Rinehart just down the road it would be a wonderful gesture. Great exhibitions, enthusiastic volunteers - well worth a visit when time to kill before flying out somewhere. Great for locals... More
