By boat

We had rented a boat for a day, we loved to have lunch on the boat on the edge of this beautiful beach, paradise.

Busy. Busy.
Aug 2020 • Couples
Not my cup of tea. Too hectic with many people and lots of activities. I prefer a more quiet place. Could be good for young children, as it is a shallow bay.

Seaweed covered beach
Jul 2020
This beach is full of seaweed! so much seaweed, you cannot even see the sand. To go into the water, you have to pass through all the seaweed.....and it smells like, well, seaweed. It is also very crowded and dirty, despite the clear turquoise water.
We do not recommend this beach nor we will be back.

Ups and Downs
Jun 2020
Ups and Downs. Tons of poseidonia (not removed), and smelly air close to camping area. Parking closeby, white sand, nice anyway when not crowded

Beautiful beach
Sep 2019 • Couples
Lovely beach, white sand a blue turquoise calm water. Great for children, very shallow. The beach doesn't get too busy end of September. We preferred Santa Giulia opposed to Palombaggia where there is a lot seaweed in the sea.

Swim and eat.
Sep 2019 • Friends
The food is great, location is the best in Corsica. The service is over the top. This is the complete package for having a great lunch and a perfect swim.

The best beach (for us)
Aug 2019 • Couples
What we look for:
Crystal clear water
Nice sandy beach
Umbrella
Facilities (restaurant, wc)

We have checked Palombaggia and Rondinara as well but just wasted our time. If you have similar preferences, stay on Santa Giulia, especially at the north side.

The best - don’t go to another
Aug 2019
Sand is very fine- unlike palombaggia-
You have some shaded areas under the trees.
Relatively large beach.
Water sports activities .
Large parking areas.
The second day we went to Palombaggia but left and came back to Santa Giulia....

Overcrowded and too much seaweed
Jul 2019 • Family
We had heard amazing things about this beach but in the end it was our least favorite. It was overcrowded with seaweed and sea vegetation everywhere. The water was less clear than other places we had been in Corsica. However it did have good parking. We saw they offer paddle boarding and what looked like a yoga class on paddle boards. The water does not drop off and get deep suddenly - it stays shallow for a good bit so good for kids.
