I booked the 2 hour pony trek for myself and my 9 year old daughter. I booked the transfers too which worked so well for us - very efficient.
When we arrived we were kitted out with boots, riding hats etc. They also have snowsuits, gloves and balaclavas for you to use.
Lina was absolutely fantastic with us and the whole experience was amazing from start to finish. Ponies were just adorable, the scenery was breathtaking and Lina was the perfect guide.

We booked the fairytale ride for our 7 and 9 year olds. It was an amazing experience with children riding and adults leading the horses thru the winter wonderland. Children had a small spring celebration at a table set in the middle of the forest and looked for fairies, made a wish to the fairies and even saw the king of the forest and fairies Tapio ski by. Really friendly staff and tour was well planned and a joy to both children and adults!

We arrived at the stable and recieved a warm welcome. We got the helmets and get a brief introduction for the horses and the program. Then we left off with our great guide into the white wilderniss. Thx @sgt and @Lapin Saaga Icelandic Horse Stable for the experience!

So we had a horse trip booked for 9pm, with the hope of seeing the Northern Lights. However, the day of the trip it starts snowing, quite a bit, and it's clear we won't be able to see any lights while we're on the ride.

We were in Levi eating dinner and finished about 6pm. I tried calling a few times to see if we could move our reservation to the earlier 7pm ride, but there was no answer. Instead we took a taxi there and figured either we could get into the earlier ride or (worst case scenario) we'd just have to wait there until 9pm.

We got there and a lovely young woman came out to meet us. She said there was no 7pm ride as we were the only people booked for the evening. However, she (and another friendly young lady) got horses geared up and we were able to head out much earlier than planned.

The trip was beautiful and peaceful. Our guide was as friendly as could be and very accommodating. Even though English was not her first language she was trying (and doing a great job of it) for us. I can't recommend the ride enough......not only because of the sweet horses and the beautiful scenery, but for the amazing service we received.

A different way to explore and see the Finnish forests, on well behaved and kind horses. Suitable for all levels of experience. The horses have been well trained, and are obviously well cared for and loved.

We loved this tour in a magic winter evening: the horses were walking through very small paths full of snow and it felt like floating between the forest trees.
