The visiting centre is a combination of elements including a small exposition area, souvenirshop, toilets and information counter. The information we receives included a detailed map of the area and the most interesting parts for the time we had available.
This was definitely worth a visit! Recommended for as a place to stop mid-day to cool off in the shade and get some water, and an ice cream! The displays about the wildlife in the park were very informative, and learning more about the flora...More
Restaurant, info desk art gallery, amenities and well organised displays on local points of interest. We loved the art gallery as they have some good quality, interesting and different indigenous pieces on sale. There are books, mugs, souvenirs and there's lots to look at here....More

Originally we weren’t planning on visiting the visitors centre but other suggested we should so we did and we didn’t regret it at all!
There’s a theatre which shows a film of Kakadu National Park and the places people normally wouldn’t have access to.
