Where do we start, this was absolutely fantastic, a memory that we will carry throughout our lives! We are a family with two teenage daughters who enjoy the outdoors so this tour ticked the boxes for us, if you want plush hotels, then you may need to book a different tour. We travelled in comfort to so many special places... More

We took the 5 day tour with Intrepid and were very pleased that we decided to take the extra couple of days. The group was lively and the guide (Luke) was excellent. We got up early at Katherine and were on the first boat trip down the gorge - it was marvellous to see it before it got busy. We... More

Great day exploring the Kakadu region. Our guide was very knowledgeable and friendly enough. The downsides: (1) whenever we asked questions our guide would say "I'll tell you later" as if we were interrupting her spiel and (2) we felt we wasted a lot of perfectly good exploration time. Twin falls was closed the day of our tour. Instead of... More

Steve runs small tours, so they are very personal. He has great knowledge of the Area, and its administration, making this a very informative and interesting day. Steve also provided an excellent lunch as part of the tour. Well worth it.

If you have never visited Jim Jim falls and twin falls you really should! This was my third time to kakadu but first time visiting these places. Whilst it might have been even more incredible 25 years ago before all the modern conveniences of bbias and boardwalks it was still an effort and a bit of a challenge to get... More

My mother and I had a brilliant day at Jim Jim Falls and Twin Falls with Steve. The care and attention to detail he puts into his tours is apparent from the spotless and comfortable 4WD to the delicious fresh food he provides for lunch and morning tea. Steve is a true local and brimming with knowledge about local history,... More

Driver Steve was right on time to collect us from our accommodation and we begun our 4WD journey heading to Twin Falls. The track was bumpy in parts and we travelled across a river in the 4WD. We boarded a small boat which took as to the Twin Falls which were spectacular. The beach was pristine with white sand. There... More

Twin & Jim Jim Falls day tour with Steve was brilliant. He explained what to expect on the drive - road conditions, time, etc to give great context. His knowledge of flora & fauna kept us interested all day as he pointed out & explained things ranging from fire management, park history, animals, croc management & more. Lunch was bread... More
