Well worth a visit, a little bit of Redcar history. Ask questions, look around. A risky job today? Imagine what it was like when the Zetland was in operation..

You need to go here to see the lifeboat etc highly recommend going to a visit great way to pass a few hours

Visited the lifeboat house on a few occasions as I come from Redcar and every time I read something different. It’s only a small place but very interesting in history

Cannot recommend this place enough. We came here to look for my ancestors that sailed the Zetland and it was amazing to see their photos in the walls and to hear the Picknetts are still working today. The volunteers are all amazing and so knowledgable...More
