Hiking in Järvenpää

If you wanna hike in Keskiuusimaa, you don’t have to take one hour drive to Nuuksio in western Espoo, but you can stay in Järvenpää and take your hiking in Lemmenlaakso. Lemmenlaakso is offering nice forest and river views. For me it is most beautiful during the time of flowering spring term.

As usual in Finland our nature is free of charge!

Nature close to Järvenpää

Depending the person the place is charming or somethinh else. There are some nature close to city. like that it is a nice place to visit fo who is living close. But there are better places if you are not very close. There are places where to make fire and fry sausage.

Lemmenlaakso, I love you

I strongly recommend this to a nature reserve area for walkers. Lemmenlaakso is my number one favorite place to go for a walk. It is so beautiful and lush, lots of leafy trees and flowering plants. Good paths. Several walking routes, long and short.
You can hear a bit of traffic noise (but it may seem safe for people from very urban areas). This is a wonderful forest for all seasons. Go there.

Before the Summer

We had a siit here before the ice had melted fully so was a slippery walk.
But it was nice all the same.

One point he directions were not easy to Follow but its not possible to get lost here.

Nice paths with stairs by the river.
Short.
