Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

This station was built in 1858 for 1862 completed Helsinki-Hämeenlinna line. A famous Swedish architect Carl Albert Edelfelt designed the station building as all other stations on this line: Helsinki, Tikkurila, Järvenpää, Hyvinkää, Riihimäki, Turenki ja Hämeenlinna.
In 1999, the station building was moved about 25 meters away from the rails in connection with the construction and upgrading of the track. Now there was heavy construction again going on around the station building. Hopefully they don't destroy it.

Järvenpää is one of stations standing by the first railway in Finland and it was established by starish rule in Finland. Please note the aristocratic atmosphere there, which is focused on the walls by black and white memorial photos.
That’s not everything! At the station you can have a nice cup of tea, meanwhile waiting your train at Järvenpää in half an hour to Helsinki by nice commuter train.

The railway station building in Järvenpää is beautiful and historical. There are the pictures of the previous station masters on the wall. I believe Japanese people would like this place even though there is no cat as station master. You can even buy train tickets here! (at least still in February 2019)
Café Albert at the station is very nice. Friendly service and good food and beverages at good price. They even have books to be read.

This old railwaystation is a reminder of better times when there was people who wanted to share their feelings and news with other travelers.

Well like the name says its mainly for the railroad passangers to buy tickets. There is also small cafeteria for crabbing something fast togo or eat in.

Station has good connections to south and north. Almost in the center of the city. You can buy tickets inside in working hours and from machine after that 24/7.

Very quiet place, maybe even too quiet!
Everything perfect, everything clean, very quiet. Several supermarkets open late, even a shopping centre.
