If you go onto the MVV website all you need do is search for MVV-Regionalbus 951 Herrsching timetable and you'll see when busses run from Herrsching to Andechs (Kloster).

You should be able to take your dog; I've seen them outside in the beer garden (and bowls for them to drink water from too). Not sure about the bus - you might have to walk from the train station but that's not difficult and... More

Yes, take bus 951. About a 10 min ride.
