There is a good post with directions. Print it out. We got to the end of the sand but didn't think we were there so got back on the dirt road and headed further to Los Frailles. You have arrived at Cabo Pulmo when La Palapa restaurant is on your LEFT, two dive places are in front of you and... More

The only way to access this marine preserve is by car (and boat I believe) but when you drive here, it is not easy. There are companies that offer transportation but if there are two of you going, it is cheaper to take a car if you are fine with the dirt and bumpy road. We drove a economy car... More

Remote location, Mexican Government protected and the ideal conditions for an amazing array of marine life. It has coral reefs with tropical fish, sea lions, sharks, whales, mantas, turtles, whale sharks and massive schools of jacks. Odds are you won't see all this in one visit. They are seasonal, so do some homework ahead of time and plan your visit... More

We rented a car in Cabo San Lucas and it was right at a 2 hr drive to get to the Cabo Pulmo Sport Center. When traveling on Highway 1, go just pass klm marker 92 for your right turn to Cabo Pulmo. Incredible amount of fish schools to see. We also saw sea turtles and swam with the sea... More

We were looking for something that we could do together in the water. So we asked about snorkeling and someone mentioned the marine preserve at Cabo Pulmo. I wanted to scuba dive and my wife wanted to snorkel. In my dive I saw thousands of fish including a 200 pound grouper and schools of 10 pound groupers. More big fish... More

We planned our Cabo Pulmo snorkeling tour with Cabo adventures. We got picked up from our hotel and dropped off a the Dolphin Center where people from all over gathered before being grouped into their activities. The ever helpful and smiling hosts of Cabo adventures were a delight. Our guide, photographer and go to guy for the trip was Mr.... More

I have been to a lot of snorkel reefs around the world and I think I enjoyed snorkeling here the best. The Playa Los Arbolitos is the only coral reef within the Sea of Cortez and is the Oldest along the East Pacific maybe 20,000 years old. National Geographic called this area the "Baha Miracle" A no take zone was... More

we signed up for a 3 hour snorkel tour at Cabo Pulmo Snokel and it turned out to be one of the best we have ever experienced anywhere. Our guide Daniel took us out to four separate areas, first he took us to see whales, we followed four of them at 100 yards for a half an hour, and then... More

I've come here several times over the last 20 years. The first was just with my new wife -- it was a great adventure and romantic too. Now we come with kids and our friends. There are great beaches to explore, the snorkeling is great, and it's very easy and relaxing to stay here. We rent bungalows and dine in... More
