Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

My husband and I were invited to Limerick races on the 1st of May to the restaurant by a company that we do business with. It was my first time being at the races in years but we had a great day. They had booked a table right by the window which looked over the track and we could see the racing from there. We had a lovely lunch and the staff were very friendly. We followed the tispter's advise and won a few euro but we had great fun watching the racing. All in all it was a great day and we hope to go back again during the summer for one of the evening meetings

Visited one of the finest racecourses yet on St Patricks weekend in Limerick. A great days racing helped along with the bright Spring day. I must say that the facilities the racecourse has to offer are second to none with great food in the restaurant, we hope to make it over again for one of their great summer evening meets.

50 of us have attended the last 5 yrs on 27 Dec each time. The drink this year in the top bar is the worst we have ever experienced. Don’t mind paying €6.50 for a pint of Guinness if it tastes reasonable enough but this was vile. Wont be back again

Went to the races the day after Stephen's day.
We rented a Private Suite (Box) and could easily fit 10 - 15 people!!!

This was my first time at the races ....and I will probably be going back!!!

Pros:
Great view of the races from our own balcony.
Finger food served half-way through race meeting.
A tipster calls into the box....with loads of tips.
The bar is approx. 10 feet away!!!
Teller comes round to each box to take bets before each race!
You can go down to the paddock for an up close encounter with horses and jockeys!
Plenty of facilities, Bars, Food, etc.
Plenty of parking

Cons:
None...expect my bad luck at the bookies!!!!!!

The place is well run and spotlessly clean.
All staff were friendly and very obliging.

Would definitely recommend....even for kids.

Went at the weekend, never been before,
the quality of the facilities far exceeded what we were expecting
Got a taxi there from the centre of limerick, and the driver picked us up after the races had finished
It was not too busy, so there was no queueing for drinks and bets.
We got seated on a table and had a great view of the racing
it was a really good day and would visit the track again.

Not a bad way , to spend a day out, if not very in to betting, the Tote is the way, cheap, and efficient. Good facilities for food and drink, and several options for food, up to the panoramic restraint.

I couldn't fault this fabulous venue for a great days entertainment, top quality food, friendly staff and total comfort. It was a great treat after a busy xmas for myself and my husband. We booked the panoramic restaurant with perfect view of racing and finishing line. Great value for money and a great day out. We topped it off by staying overnight in Limerick city which is only 10/15 minutes drive. Will definitely be going back next year.
