We found this Park quite by accident and it quickly became a place that we came to everyday while in the area to explore for an hour or so. The campground was closed for the season so we were using the day use area and...More

Stayed in the Friendship campground, in one of the few spots with electrical hook up. Friendship campground has a view of the lake, and the best access to the dog beach (dogs not allowed on the beach immediately adjacent to the campgrounds). Big level spaces,...More

We spent three days here in July swimming in the lake, walking the trails and our kids loved the activities in the well-run visitors center, especially the Jerry rangers in the morning. The RV sites with power are in a more open area with a...More

Sites are huge and private, washroom/shower building clean and hot. Potable water also good. Some trails around the park, definitely recommend the creek trail. Can't comment on beach, as lake was high when I was there and the beach was flooded. Fairly quiet, with occasional...More

This has to be one of the most beautiful well maintained campgrounds I have ever been to. We booked a week long stay with our young children and loved every minute of it. The visitor center was a highlight, my son did the Jerry’s Rangers...More

Hiking, swimming, kayaking, wildlife viewing! What else can you ask for from a park? Flush toilets too! Great place for families.

This would’ve been a nice time camping with my mother, however I would never come here again with my dog. We had two rangers with bad attitudes come by and be very snitty and power tripping. Everything can be said with some kindness as these...More

This park is fantastic! Shaded area in Redfish area. Clean washrooms and showers. Only concern is you have to pay $5 to dump trailer at the end of your stay. Any other provincial park it is included in stay. We’ll be back!

Lots of camping sites. The visitor center looked good, but was not open the day we were there. The stream was at high water levels and over its banks. They are currently building a high bridge over the stream so people can observe the salmon...More

We go from Nelson to Kokanee Creek pretty often. We've only camped there once for a weekend but go frequently to walk the trails, look at the spawning salmon (late August to early October), let the kids wade in the warmish natural lagoon, swim in...More
