As we passed by a father and son canoeing we learned they had made the drive from Sarnia and like to visit often. And Sarnia isn't exactly near Bells Lake, so we thought, we must be somewhere special. Why drive into the Highlands when you can experience northern flora in Southern Ontario? Visited in April and saw some large suckers spawning. The size of these fish made it clear that this small lake was capable of growing some large fish. Many locals in there with kayaks and fishing rods, all set up in their special spots waiting for the trout. Definitely worth the drive from Sarnia, and why go any further? Also - no fees!! Doesn't get better! Everyone should go.…
